Sometimes print version or print preview works or you could use a (greasemonkey) script – you’ll find ‘em for most popular sites ;)
Not only that, I’ve noticed they have started calling their full page ads when you hit the page ‘welcome screen’.
The only Greasemonkey script I need is the one that hides all the links pointing to forbes.com. ;)
